SAFETY & AWARENESS

The Churches Child Protection Advisory Service  (CCPAS),  advises religious and community organisations on child protection issues, the emphasis always on keeping children safe.

The final production was delivered on 8,000 DVDs containing the video and 20 different posters in the three languages, together with three different format web versions for the member's web sites

The Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service, is a charity dedicated to training and supporting Religious and Community organisations on Child Protection matters. 

They wanted to provide their membership of over 6,000 with a communication tool to demonstrate to the individual groups and congregations that children's safety was taken very seriously within their organisation.

To show that the organisation showing the video, as adherents to strict CCPAS guidelines, have an effective Child Protection Policy in place.  During discussions it was decided that because of the negative publicity over the years from Churches and organisations that DID NOT practice good Child Protection - or any at all, it would be helpful to counter the negative image that had resulted with a positive message that:  "Kids Are Safe Here!"

Not only could this message be conveyed to members of and visitors to these Churches and Organisations via video in meetings, but also on posters displayed in and around the premises.

And bearing in mind the people who surf the web looking for somewhere to go to Church when visiting an area holiday or looking for somewhere to entertain children,  we produced a number of formats for the individual organisations web sites.

Three language versions of the video were produced; English, Welsh and French to ensure that the message could be widely understood and the support material was translated as well.  Other translations can of course be produced in the future when required.  The resulting six minute video, which you can view on the left of this page gets the message across simply and succinctly.
